About David Potter Flooring
We’re David and Ashley Potter, a husband-and-wife team proud to call Pacific Grove home. At David Potter Flooring, we do all of the work ourselves — from start to finish — because we’re dedicated to the details that make every project exceptional. By keeping our work hands-on, we’re able to maintain the quality, care, and craftsmanship our clients have come to expect.

David started in the hardwood flooring trade right out of high school, working on high-end projects that taught him the value of precision and pride in every board. Over the years, we’ve found our niche in site-finished and restoration work, with a special love for bringing old floors back to life. There’s something amazing about seeing hardwood that’s over a hundred years old restored to its natural beauty and purpose.

We were both born and raised here in Pacific Grove, where we’re now raising our four kids. When we’re not working, you’ll usually find us outside — at the beach, on local trails, or cheering on our kids at their games. We love being part of this community and supporting the people who make it such a special place to live and work.
